Marketing Strategy

Stop guessing. Start with a plan that actually fits your business.

Most businesses spend money on marketing before they know what they're trying to achieve or which channels make sense for their specific situation. We fix that first.

A clear marketing direction before a single rand gets spent

We build marketing strategies for South African businesses that want to know exactly where to focus, what to say, who to say it to and how to measure whether it’s working. That means looking at your business, your market and your competitors honestly and building a plan around what actually makes sense for your budget and goals, not a generic template with your logo on the cover.

The Problem

What We Do

Marketing without a strategy is just spending. You might get lucky, but you have no way of knowing what worked or how to repeat it. A clear strategy means every decision has a reason behind it and every rand spent is pointing at a defined outcome.

The other thing a strategy does is stop you wasting time and money on channels that are wrong for your business. Not every business needs to be on TikTok. Not every business should be running Google Ads from day one. Knowing which channels to skip is just as valuable as knowing which ones to prioritise.

Common Concerns

Only if you treat it like one. We build strategies that are meant to be used, not filed. The 90-day roadmap is specifically designed to be actionable week by week rather than aspirational over three years. We also walk you through it in a session so you understand the reasoning behind every recommendation rather than just receiving a PDF.

Ideally, yes. Starting paid advertising or SEO without a clear positioning and audience picture means you’re optimising execution before you’ve validated direction. That said, if you’re already running campaigns, a strategy audit can identify what to change rather than starting from scratch.

Yes. Most clients who come to us for a strategy end up working with us on execution as well, whether that’s Google Ads, SEO, social media or website work. The strategy naturally feeds into which services make sense and in what order. There’s no obligation, but the option is there.

Most strategy engagements take two to three weeks from the initial session to final delivery. The timeline depends on how much research is involved and how quickly we can align on priorities during the process. We’ll give you a clear timeline before we start.

A 90-day strategy is meant to be reviewed and adjusted at the end of each cycle. If something significant changes during the 90 days, we’re available to revisit the plan. Marketing is not a set-it-and-forget-it activity and the strategy shouldn’t be either.
